This glowing tea container light makes for a wonderful and functional accessory. A simple, irresistible way to add dramatic lighting to any space. The tea container is made from acrylic and polypropylene with designed cut out using laser-cutting technique. The LED light is easily inserted from the underside of the cube, and the light can be controlled with a finger switch. The dimensions of the container allowed it to hold as much as 25 cubic inches of tea leaves. Brick was inspired by one of my favorite architect Yasuhiro Yamashita. His contemporary ideas, which played with geometric shapes interacting with lights attracted me as an industrial designer. Therefore, Brick is a combination design between architecture and product into a functional accessory for the tea industry, and in addition it is a new way of advertising for modern tea companies.
